I always hear don’t trust new sellers but know T can get my money back, but I just hate thinking that all new sellers are scammers but depending on how all this goes, that might just be my new way of thinking.

Out of over 8000 products that were shipped that year, six customers complained to Amazon that their product arrived used or damaged. In addition, a small percentage of customers also listed the item as “defective” or “didn’t match the listing” as their return reason.

Ordering on Amazon is no longer fun, and it takes longer and longer to order to check who is really selling the item and checking the seller’s reputation in addition to the confusing mix of product reviews. I don’t feel like they are doing quality control over who sells what.

Be social. Whatever your business, whatever your venue, keeping your name in the air is key to internet success. Have a business account on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. If your business is graphically oriented, have accounts on Flickr and Tumblr as well. Whenever there is news of any kind—a new contract, a new page, a new entry, a new photo—cross-post it to all your social media sites. Also make sure those sites link back to your main website, and that your website has links to all of them.
Many of the newcomers filing in on Mondays may not be there in a few years. The company’s winners dream up innovations that they roll out to a quarter-billion customers and accrue small fortunes in soaring stock. 6. Focus: Perhaps most important of all, you have to learn to focus on the right things to get the right results. This is a business. This is YOUR business. You’re not here to play around. You’re here to create value and sell that value to the right people. And above all you have to work on YOUR business not in your business.
Occasionally, you’ll get an email about an order that Amazon tells you is “in the works”. They won’t give you the address or name of the recipient, but they will tell you that it’s in progress. This is due to the fact that Amazon sometimes needs to confirm either alternate payment data or for some other reason. It may take a day or two for the “Sold! Ship now!” message to arrive for the order.

Even if Amazon’s moonshots never come to fruition, it’s great optics for the company. A reimagined grocery store makes you think of Amazon’s dedication to getting food to you faster (maybe you’ll be inspired to try Amazon Fresh, the company’s grocery delivery service), and if Bezos is willing to invent new kinds of drones to get you a package faster, imagine how much they want you to get that toothpaste you ordered to be delivered through the standard mail.

KHAN: So the post office is losing money through doing business with Amazon. There was a recent report by Citigroup that estimated that – right now, basically, the post office charges Amazon around $2.00 per package, and Citigroup estimated that a more accurate cost estimate would be something like 41 percent greater. I think the fact that, you know, Amazon is able to do business at very favorable terms to Amazon and to terms that the post office is losing money on, there is truth to that.
