Click “Start Selling.” This will take you to a new page where you can choose which type of seller you are. Click this option under “Individual Sellers” or “Professional Sellers,” depending on the type of seller you’d like to become. Individual Sellers tend to be free from selling fees (with the exception of commission Amazon takes from each order) while the Professional Sellers are fee-based and tend to mostly be used by those who own (rather profitable) offline stores otherwise.

As the tech companies have disrupted retail online, Quality King has spent the past few decades disrupting retail behind the scenes–on trucks, on freighter ships, and through good old-fashioned American litigation. Take, for instance, the 1998 Supreme Court case involving Quality King and a fancy shampoo maker named L’Anza Research. To preserve its cachet, L’Anza made its U.S. distributors sell only to exclusive boutiques and salons at high prices. But L’Anza sold its shampoo more cheaply in Europe, where it was less known. So several tons of L’Anza shampoo intended for distribution in Malta ultimately ended up on a ship headed for Ronkonkoma, for Quality King to sell wherever. (You could say it fell off the back of a boat.) L’Anza sued, claiming a Copyright Act violation, but the Supreme Court ruled unanimously for Quality King: A company buying products on the open market can resell them as it sees fit.

Issue a refund for an order, should the need arise. In the unlikely event that a customer is dissatisfied by your service and you agree to give a refund, you can give a full or part refund on the “issue a refund for an order” page in your seller account.

I also sold another more pricey item. It sucks that if the buyer lies and says it is broken that I have to pay the $20 shipping and end up -$40 shipping for the transaction (plus $15 Amazon fees). I am never selling on Amazon again. It might work well for people that sell thousands of items and have a Pro Seller account, but small sellers can get burned. I am going back to shopping from other retailers not Amazon.
