Along the way you will want to pay down debt, invest, look for ways to earn more money, look for ways to save money, and balance that with the rest of life. I know those are broad strokes, but each situation is different, and that is the best I can do without knowing more about your situation.

When your grandparents lamented that a dollar just isn’t a dollar anymore, they weren’t just bellyaching. Inflation attacks the value of a dollar, reducing it as time goes by so that you need more dollars in the future. That is one of the reasons that $1 million is often thrown around as a retirement goal. Back in 1900, a $1 million retirement would include a mansion and a bevy of servants, but now, it has become a benchmark for the average retirement portfolio. The upside is that it is easier to become a millionaire now than at any time before. While you won’t be buying islands, it is still a goal worth shooting for. Keep reading to find out multiple ways to make your first million.

First of all, I want to congratulate you on becoming debt free at 32. However, you have a long life ahead of you, and to sustain this seems implausible. The fact that you are thinking of where to put your money is great. Firstly, you must protect yourself. Eg.. have Critial illness Insurance or Disability Ins in place before you start to “invest”. Secondly, have an Insured Retirement Plan in place. This is a life insurance vehicle that has investments growing inside it tax free until the day you die. If done properly, it will never be taxed as well.

In a few cases, like with the headphones company, I was able to maximize my value by negotiating a deal where I got paid based on the amount of profit I was able to drive – which with this one client was insane. I got 20% of the profit that I drove that was directly attributable to the digital marketing campaigns that I was running. I knew that I was going to crush it, so I spent extra time up front making sure that the contract I had him sign covered a ton of scenarios. While I tried to make the case, which was true, that my strategy would help increase sales over at least the next 2+ years, the owner of the company would only sign on for 6 months.

Has anybody contacted the owner of this blog? There are a lot of people on this website now, and more “lurking” I’m sure. Apparently, the owner knows how to get “ranked”, I found this at the top of google. I am not affiliated with them, nor am I them. I’m just making an observation.

Working and turning hours into dollars is nice, but it doesn’t always give you a big payday.  All of the individuals we highlighted at the beginning of the https://youtu.be/P0rkPqdibV8 made it to $1 million by 25 by starting their own companies – and you can do that too.

Liveops – Liveops is a call center that allows you to work from home. Once your set up to take the calls, you can begin making a weekly schedule and working from home. The pay is generally close to $10/hour, but you can earn more with commissions.

Individual retirement accounts are available to those individuals with qualified compensation. Traditional and Roth IRAs are funded with after-tax dollars. However, if your income level qualifies, you can receive a tax deduction for contributions to your traditional IRA. The major difference between the two IRAs is that earnings in the Traditional IRA grow tax-deferred, while those in the Roth IRA grow tax-free.
