I read that article, too. As much as I like to be an optimist, I must admit that I don’t think I’ll ever be a millionaire. I think I can do better with my finances and build a more secure future. But, I don’t think I’ll have a million or more unless I get really lucky and hit the lotter!
Good starting list! I appreciate the idea of establishing a small income stream that may compound into substantial revenue in the future. The same principal applies to investing and anyone that believes there is not work involved or that you can get rich quick with little effort is greatly mistaken. I have owned/sold several successful businesses, none of which were built over night or the easy way – long hours are mandatory for any business and you can forget about “The Hourly Value of Your Time” – that’s an employee mindset.
I love your review on My Millionaire Mentor. I was watching the video and that guy just kept beating around the bush about everything. So I Googled: What is My Millionaire Mentor and found your site. Hope those keywords helps you there. You were straight to the point and I clicked off that site after reading your review, that and I was tired of hearing his annoying voice. Thanks a lot 😉
If you want to get your feet wet in the renting business, Airbnb is a great website to get started. If you own your home or your landlord permits it, you can make money online by renting your space to others on the site.

My mind is completely blown. I never imagined this was possible. I didn’t have any crazy goals back then, I just wanted to write. While I was excited to share my ideas with the world, I never had any expectations people would read them. Let alone 1 million people. That’s a lot of people. Like this many people.
In April 2003, British Army Major Charles Ingram, his wife Diana, and college lecturer Tecwen Whittock were convicted of using fraudulent means to win £1 million on the UK version of the show when Ingram was a contestant on the show in September 2001. The allegation was that when Tarrant asked a question, Whittock, one of that episode’s nine other Fastest Finger First contestants, would cough to guide Ingram to the correct answer. Ingram won the £1 million top prize, but members of the production staff raised suspicions over Whittock’s coughing along with the Ingrams’ behaviour after the recording, and the police were called in to investigate. The defence claimed that Whittock simply suffered from allergies; however, all three were found guilty and given suspended sentences. After the trial, ITV aired a documentary about the scandal, along with Ingram’s entire game, complete with Whittock’s coughing sounds. As a joke, Benylin cough syrup paid to have the first commercial shown during the programme’s commercial break.
That’s only one way to measure if someone’s a millionaire, of course. A net worth of $1 million also qualifies; subtract liabilities, including mortgages and car loans, from assets, including home equity and retirement savings, to determine your net worth. Either way, hitting the million-dollar mark is no small feat.

In November 2008, the Norway version introduced a new format, called the “Hot Seat format”, wherein 6 contestants play at once, with each taking turns to climb the money tree. Contestants are allowed to “pass” the onus of answering the question to the next contestant in line, who is unable to re-pass to the next contestant for that question. Also added were time limits on every question, with 15 seconds allocated for the first five questions, 30 for the middle five, and 45 for the last five. In addition, the option of walking away is eliminated, rendering several questions’ values pointless, as they cannot be won. Also, if a player fails to give an answer within the time limit, it is considered an automatic pass. If a contestant cannot pass on or correctly answer a question, he or she is eliminated and the highest value on the money tree is removed. The game ends either when all https://youtu.be/oqILt-n4Qns are eliminated, or when the question for the highest value in the money tree is answered. If the final question is answered correctly, the answering player receives the amount of money; if it is answered incorrectly or all contestants are eliminated before the final question is reached, the last contestant to be eliminated receives either nothing, or a smaller prize if the fifth question milestone is reached. This format was later introduced to various markets (including Italy, Hungary, Vietnam, Indonesia, Australia, Chile and Spain) over the course of a four-year period from 2009 to 2012. In 2017, Australia’s Hot Seat brought back the Fastest Finger First round, while the winner may select one of the lifelines – “50:50”, “Ask a Friend” or “Switch the Question”.
First of all, it’s yet another rebranded MLM. In the past, they’ve also gone by the name of My Online Business Empire (MOBE) and My Top Tier Business, although they haven’t changed a thing aside from their name (kinda sounds like what happened with DS Domination & Infinii or Neways & Modere).
Do people in your life ask for loans? Do they ask for a bailout when times are tough? Do they want to lean on your good credit because they ruined their own? Do they take advantage of you on an ongoing basis?
Another site which is also free is Varolo. You can watch ads and get paid in pennies lol. But the way you make real money on that site is if you grow your network. you can do that here http://www.varolo.com/village/JoeMoe
Great tips. I agree that the process for becoming a millionaire is not very difficult when one takes the time to step back and look at it in a methodical manner. Spend less than you earn, save and invest the difference, and repeat the process. The biggest factor after that is adding time and compound growth.
2. The President of the largest gas company, Edward Hopson, was a New York utility regulator who later turned AGECO in one of the country’s largest utility holding companies, largely through fraud, served time in jail, lost his fortune, and died institutionalized at 67.
Hey, Julia and thank you very much for your comment, kind words, and encouragement. I am glad to hear you found My Millionaire Mentor scam review helpful. The product is NOT what they claim it to be. And hey, it IS so ridiculously expensive! I cannot imagine where on Earth ordinary people take all those thousands of dollars to even start doing business with MOBE?
I see we have the same mindset. I really believe I’ll be a millionaire in the future, and I’ve been working toward that for many years now. From time to time something can happen unexpected and cause you to have to spend a little more than you earn… you can’t make a habit of doing that though. This was a good article, and should help a lot of people if they will just do it.
Who are your competitors? How are they doing business-wise? Are they about to retire? Most businesses sell for two to five times their annual earnings or profits, and many parties who are interested in selling end up simply closing shop after not finding an interested buyer. Many times, you may be able to pick up a business that, when combined with a business you already own, could pay for itself within 12-18 months. This is one of the most expensive but quickest ways of reaching $1 million a year in sales. (To examine the flip side argument, read 7 Steps To Selling Your Small Business.)
Some questions come to my mind when I come across things like this: Why would a creator of such a successful system not show his face for the world to see? Aren’t they proud to be the creators of such “revolutionary” money making systems?
I’m 18 years old just graduated high school and I feel like college is just a waste of time because I wanna start making money now! How can I start my own business with little money and write articles?
I recently stopped contributing to my 401k. My company does not match it and my investment options were limited. Instead I now take what I was saving and put it in index funds and ETFs. Uncle Sam takes more now, but my returns will be bigger in the long run. Plus I have control over what I invest in. Non-matched 401ks are nothing more than a savings account at the mercy of someone else running it. Growth opportunities and disciplined saving doing it myself far outweigh any tax advantages of my 401k over the life my saving.
I started to watch it’s ridiculous video for about 4 minutes. then I decided to look up scam or no scam. I want to thank all of you telling me that this is a scam now I do not have to finish watching his ridiculous video. again thank you guys I appreciate it.
Hey, I appreciate that you made a whole site for teens like me to learn about taxes on our summer jobs. For teens like me who can’t buy you’re ebook thing, I looked up the details. Basically, according to http://www.bankrate.com/finance/taxes/teen-jobs-and-tax-issues-1.aspx, a teen that is depending on a tax-payer (like a parent or guardian) can make up to $5,950 without oweing taxes. Another tip from that article was to make sure your employer (if you have one) classifys you as the correct worker. If you get classified as a contractor you owe self employment fees or something similar. Thanks for reading this and I hope it helps,
In the “My Millionaire Mentor” video I saw, there is an endless stream of luxury cars, mansions, yachts, planes, beautiful women, diamonds, cash, and exotic vacations. It is as if Mr. Matthews is rubbing our nose in all the trappings of wealth. He’s trying to make us feel greedy.
So do yourself a favor and get rid of your credit cards (at least until you’re out of debt). Give them to a friend or a family member to hold on to. If you have a safety deposit box, put them in there for a while. Anything works as long as your cards are out of sight and out of mind.
