That’s only one way to measure if someone’s a millionaire, of course. A net worth of $1 million also qualifies; subtract liabilities, including mortgages and car loans, from assets, including home equity and retirement savings, to determine your net worth. Either way, hitting the million-dollar mark is no small feat.

There’s a distinction between “old money” and “new money.” New money is a derogatory term for people who have gained wealth quickly and live ostentatiously, spending and living a lavish lifestyle. To hold onto wealth, learn from old money and ascend to the stratosphere.

What he reveals in How to Make a Million Dollars an Hour, in a sardonic and appropriately irreverent tone, is something more ominous.” —Nomi Prins, Truthdig.com

Second, decide where to invest your Roth money; technically you can be in stocks, index funds, mutual funds, whatever. But I suggest investing your money in a low-cost, diversified portfolio that includes index funds such as the S&P 500. The S&P 500 averages a return of 10% and is managed with barely any fees.

The part in the post about interviews resonated with me because I’ve also been really shocked at how willing and happy most people are to be interviewed. I literally started my blog only a few weeks ago and, when I first started requesting interviews, I only had a crappy landing page up. I was shaking in my boots, utterly convinced that everyone would either ignore me or tell https://youtu.be/prKVQ5T7mTs to go jump. So, it was amazing to get really great feedback and almost everyone I’ve asked has agreed to be interviewed.
