How refreshing it is to read an offer sharing so many creative ways to earn money online. It is especially nice to receive this information from someone we can trust. I too have been burned by online scams; so I apreciate your free offer to jumpstart those of us who see the benefit of this list.
We live in a world where entrepreneurship is constantly glamorized. We see the lives of those fearless risk-takers and admire their drive to run off virtually no sleep in pursuit of their passion. It makes us feel alive seeing people who truly went for it. It inspires us and it motivates us beyond belief. (more…)
Sites like Swagbucks ask you to watch certain videos and like them. You have to watch for a certain number of minutes which you’ll be told ahead of time. You could earn over $200 a month (earnings vary). You’ll earn Swagbucks for watching (points that can be redeemed for gift cards or Paypal). You can get $5 just for signing up!
Thank you, Egon for your review of another MOBE scam called My Millionaire Mentor! I really do appreciate your honest, clear informational opinion. I have been looking at starting an online business for a few months now. I did try a couple of them years ago but they were about products and I couldn’t get enough traffic to them. At that time, it cost about $5,000 and you had to do tricks and jump hoops and hurdles to get on the first page of Google search results. Thanks for saving us time and money.
Hey, Maurice, and thank you for sharing your experience with MOBE. Sad to hear you lost your money to MOBE. Even worse, these MOBE guys have exactly zero respect toward their customers, right? Clearly not my cup of tea.
I totally agree! Surveys are a huge scam. I tried it for a while and was ready to pull my hair. I never got a survey to participate in, just promises of yet another that I might qualify for. I paid for the the service and never made a dime. Forget the surveys!
According to Ryan Matthews, its founder, the My Millionaire Mentor is a simple 21-step mentoring system which allegedly allows you to earn quickly and easily 4-figure commissions online – more precisely, $1,250, $3,300, or $5,500.
The format in the Play It! attraction was very similar to that of the television show that inspired it. When a show started, a “Fastest Finger” question was given, and the audience was asked to put the four answers in order; the person with the fastest time was the first contestant in the Hot Seat for that show. However, the main game had some differences: for example, contestants competed for points rather than dollars, the questions were set to time limits, and the Phone-a-Friend lifeline became Phone a Complete Stranger which connected the contestant to a Disney cast member outside the attraction’s theatre who would find a guest to help. After the contestant’s game was over, they were awarded anything from a collectible pin, to clothing, to a Millionaire CD game, to a 3-night Disney Cruise.
With your other $50, go find large Instagram pages. At least 50,000 followers and 1–3% engagement (Calculate engagement using likes. Add up the number of likes for their last 10 posts. Divide that number by 10 to get average likes. Once you get average likes, divide that by the total number of followers. That’s the average engagement.)
GREAT podcast!!! I finally took the plunge a couple of weeks ago and got a one on one mentor. Like you said in the podcast, many of us think we can figure out the whole ‘process’ ourselves (myself included), but it just take too long- a mentor helps speed up the process. Keep rockin Lewis!!!!
Her real name is Jessica Mueller and she does scam testimonials for a living. I have exposed her on the Canuck Method Review and the Aussie Method Review reviews on this website, which are also scams.
I was truly looking forward to reading this book after having been recommended to read it by so many people. I didn’t really take anything useful from it and for the most part it seemed very outdated. If you are interested in learning about financial improvement or self improvement I highly recommend checking out Four Hour Work Week, Or the Magic of Thinking Big.
Thanks Sharon for your post.I had a hunch that the Millionaire Mentor (MM) could be Matt Lloyd’s MTTB programme, so your post is a confirmation of that. Among the reviews that I have read of the MM system, I recall reading at two places, that once you sign up by paying the front end $49, you have to pay an additional $1997 to complete the 21 steps of MTTB. Now this isn’t mentioned anywhere and therefore amounts to misinformation, just to get people in. I am a newbie myself-looking to make my first dollar-but what I have realized is that all advertising (relating to making money on the Internet) is made up of half-truths, something is always hidden, which should be disclosed upfront, but never is. The only programme for which I have seen consistent positive reviews is “Wealthy Affiliate”, and that seems to be the way to go.The problem is we want instant returns and hence fall for all these make-money-quick systems which promise the moon but fail to deliver.
When considering complaint information, please take into account the company’s size and volume of transactions, and understand that the nature of complaints and a firm’s responses to them are often more important than the number of complaints.
Who did it:ViralNova founder Scott DeLong was able to launch his site and get it to 200 million monthly pageviews just eight months later. DeLong uses remnant ads (cheap ads like Google AdSense). There are two ads on every page.
Before approaching your mentor to ask him/her to be your mentor, you will need to consume all of their existing material (YouTube Videos, Blog Posts, Seminar Events, Books etc.) because if you haven’t even gone through their material, they know you aren’t willing to do what it takes.
The principles that I have followed out of grad school seems to have correspond to the article. At my age as part of the mid-end of the gen X, it seems that reaching the status of millionaire doesn’t reduce the anxiety of how to provide for the family. I still worry about the same things as before, but at perhaps at a different level. I admit getting to the first million was relatively easy with luck and good planning, but I thought I would have been much better off by now. It is also very tough to maintain with a bad economy. Forget about buying the Lamborghini or the large estate, it’s time to hold what you have.
I first learned about hedge funds from reading Ed Easterlings book. Easterling runs a hedge fund, though he operates a little bit different than some of the hedge funds Leopold writes about because Easterling publishes so much information online for free on his website (including most of the graphs in his book) and the information he provides is not which stock looks good (where he could have a motive to pump up or deflate a stock–but long term information like analysis of P/E ratios and interest rates). From his book Easterling was pretty obsessive about stocks and has a much longer view of investments than the hedge fund managers Lespold wrote about, which makes me wonder if a substantial portion of hedge fund managers do not partake in the practices Leopold details.
Do a bit of research and due diligence. How much are people renting out their homes in your area on sites like AirBnB? What’s the going rate and just how do those homes compare to your own home? There are a lot of issues to cover if you’re thinking about doing this, so don’t expect to profit simply from it. The more care and attention you put to the finer details here, the better it will be.
Make sure the books you want to sell are in good condition before shipping them off to a reseller. Try buying and selling college textbooks (the giant, 101-level books that everyone needs and hates spending $100 bucks for) to maximize your profit.
Word of mouth is the most powerful https://youtu.be/uuwWWjFUXsQ tool that you can employ. Many large corporations spend millions of dollars on marketing only to pay their customer service personnel minimum wage. This is their area of vulnerability – your small business can create more personal relationships and provide better delivery and customer service than most of the large players in the industry.
If you’re willing to put in the work and develop a hustle that’ll scale and grow, you can earn as much money as you want. And while there are a lot of ways you can make more money, my favorite way is by starting a freelance hustle.
As you can see, adopting a more aggressive investment strategy is a key component of growing wealth, and if you start saving early on, you’ll have plenty of time to ride out the stock market’s ups and downs.
