If photography happens to be your thing and you are good at capturing that special moment, you can trade your skills and expertise with a number of stock photography sites. Basically what you do there is to upload the shots that you have taken.
If you are overwhelmed with “stuff” in your house, check out a great book called, The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up. The book is about changing your perceptions of your things so you can keep what is really important and get rid of what is not.

Live proactively, not reactively. You have two choices in life: React to life as it is thrown at you, or you can go out and create your own life, one that you define and you work for. Don’t get caught in a passive life being tossed around like a boat in a hurricane. Be the hurricane.
Making a million is easier than saving a million. I remember the day I called my mom and told her that was specifically the day I had earned my first million. Most everyone does it ($25,000 for 40 years is a million dollars) – many do it more than once. But, few ever save a million. It’s not that hard, however. About 80% of America’s millionaires are first generation wealthy. Moreover, more than half of those have never received even $1 in inheritance. Here are a few guiding points that can help you (adapted from Drs. Stanley and Danko’s Millionaire Next Door, 1998):
I was thinking about signing up for the millionaire scam too until something told me to google it because I’m like this can not be real & I was listening to some of the people on the video & that’s when I got on that they were lying, one of the “testimonies” had a girl saying that it was her first month & she made “so & so” much money, but then in another scene, they showed her again, same everything, I mean place, hair, even clothes, but they had said it was her 6th month & she was getting a BMW & when I saw that I remember her & thought to myself “wait, didn’t she just say it was her first month?” & that’s what really made me google the program for reviews to see if business insider how to become a millionaire by 30 was fake or not. So thank you Mr. John.
Good starting list! I appreciate the idea of establishing a small income stream that may compound into substantial revenue in the future. The same principal applies to investing and anyone that believes there is not work involved or that you can get rich quick with little effort is greatly mistaken. I have owned/sold several successful businesses, none of which were built over night or the easy way – long hours are mandatory for any business and you can forget about “The Hourly Value of Your Time” – that’s an employee mindset.
[Sidebar: And that’s why there are so many fake positive reviews on the MTTB system. All they are claiming how successful they are now while desperately trying to pitch you into buying the same program.]
I’m not surprised that they use Fiverr actors. Since I learnt through your site about other scams that use them, I’ve become a detective trying to find the real deal behind any so-called testimonial that I see.
8. Go with your gut instincts. If any future money making venture doesn’t seem right to you…..think long and hard there are very few get rich quick schemes that work.Success will only come from hard work.
You don’t have to give up anything to become wealthy. Financial security is a choice, not a sacrifice. There will be trade-offs, of course; you may not buy or do something today so you can buy or do something else later. But that, too, is a choice. You’re deciding what’s most important to you, so whatever you don’t buy or do today isn’t really a sacrifice — it’s just something that isn’t as important to you.
When you set a 10X goal, you’re required to think very differently about your daily behaviors. You’re required to be more serious in all aspects of your life. You’re required to eliminate limiting thinking and consumptive distractions.
“The safest investment I’ve ever made is in my future,” writes Hughes. “Read at least 30 minutes a day, listen to relevant podcasts while driving and seek out mentors vigorously. You don’t just need to be a master in your field, you need to be a well-rounded genius capable of talking about any subject whether it is financial, political or sports related. Consume knowledge like air and put your pursuit of learning above all else.”
I hate that there are so many groups out their praying on desperate people and scamming them! When you’re desperate, it’s hard to see through all the lies. You want to make money and quick, but how? Who can you trust?
While it is certainly possible to find that one product that everyone wants and grow rich by selling that product, most successful businesses evolve and grow and, as they make money, reinvest that money in a relentless pursuit of excellence.
Millionaires are defined in different ways. RBC Wealth Management and consulting firm Capgemini who produce the World Wealth Report say it is someone who has $1 million or more in investible assets — not including items like your primary home or consumable goods you own. On the other hand, international mega-bank Credit Suisse defines it as someone with a net worth of at least $1 million. This net worth could include the value of your primary residence, money that’s been invested in real estate or trust funds (known as non-liquid assets), and cash, stocks or bonds (liquid assets) [source: Frank, Stern].
It’s important for us as Africans to change our mindset about the process of getting rich and the journey to becoming successful. Now you know how powerful a penny can be, now you know how tough the journey is and that results will only start to show at the very end of your entrepreneurial journey.
Rule No. 1: Take out the middleman. Instead of Bryan going back to the company he used to sell for, he cut out the middleman and went straight to a credit card processor, worked out his own reselling agreement with them, and did all of this BEFORE leaving his job at Sears.
The only way to have these types of partnerships is to think long-term. You must be invested and have skin in the game. It can’t be transactional. It’s can’t be this for that. It must be about something a lot deeper. When it is, you’ll have far more integrity in the work you do. You’ll express greater appreciation. You’ll consistently do the right thing, even if that right thing is difficult and uncomfortable.
Sandeep, I want to say thanks because I was feeling alone in the ocean of make money lies. If you find something good enough to actually join please let me know. Although it aggravates me because I NEED this kinda money, I have yet spent a dime with these crooks. Pat on my back, because I’ve been doing it everyday for a year now.
Not a millionaire yet? Don’t get discouraged. This level of wealth is attainable within a lifetime. By making smart financial decisions and following a road map that includes a few key strategies, it’s entirely possible to become a millionaire. It also means you’ll need to live beneath your means, which is a far cry from the millionaire lifestyle many of us have become conditioned to expect.
Other notable top prize winners include Judith Keppel, the first winner of the UK version; Kevin Olmstead from the U.S. version, who won a progressive jackpot of $2.18 million; Martin Flood from the Australian version, who was investigated by producers after suspicions that he had cheated, much like Charles Ingram, but was later cleared; and Sushil Kumar from the Indian version, who is often referred to in Western media as the “real-life Slumdog Millionaire”.
If you want to be a millionaire, it helps to know what you want, and then have the discipline to go after it. When you set a goal, you focus on it, and pursue it. This means that you don’t get sidetracked by less important matters. If you know that you need to set $1,000 a month aside in order to meet your millionaire goal within an allotted timeframe, you focus on that. You cut expenses or, better yet, look for ways to increase your income, so that you can meet your goal. Sometimes it’s not fun, but millionaires usually stick with it.
When it is time to invest, invest in low cost index funds that mirror the US equity market, some real estate and foreign stocks. You can be diversified with less that six funds. Learn to invest yourself and pay for advice every 3-4 years to make sure you are on the right track. Invest every month. Invest more in major dips in the market. The market has never been down over the course of 30 years. There will be 4-5 recessions in your lifetime. Know that these are the crucial buying opportunities. Don’t buy a car new unless you plan to keep it over 10 years, even then, buy a 2 year old car and keep it 10 years. Always pay cash for a cash, never finance it. You end up spending more. Buy a house that the payment is 10% of your salary and a 15 year mortgage, not 25%. then if you lose your job, the payment is easier to make.
Surveys can take up to 30 minutes but are not always that frequent. We received one or two a fortnight, so it can take a few months to hit the threshold. However, you get £1 just for joining and if you get your friends to sign up too you can quickly get lots more points and cash!
