Having built a successful direct marketing company, which he started in 2002, Leboff sold it in 2008. He is now CEO of Sticky Marketing Club™ Ltd., working with businesses on effective Sales and Marketing strategies. Grant is a regular contributor to many business magazines and newspapers.
I used to have fun doing surveys while I watched TV. I was choosy about the companies I used and I never paid to sign up for any. I got about $25 in free BlockBuster movie coupons, cashed out about $25 from another site and did an in house project trial where a company sent me to full size body lotions to use and record information about. I had fun, felt like my input was improving the business world, but I wasn’t looking to get rich quick, just earn a little bit in time that typically wasted. Some survey companies pay very little, others pay better. Of course, it is not fair to the businesses conducting the research to lie in order to qualify for a survey and they certainly deserve honest and thoughtful answers to their questions. The companies I worked with told me how much the survey would pay and how long it would it would take. Research for the reputable companies.
In this screencast tutorial video, I show you two methods to sync the recorded audio from your Zoom H1 digital audio recorder (or any audio record) to the video from your camera (a Sony RX100 V in this case). The software I used was Final Cut Pro X, but it can work with any video editing software. Great video starts […]
Buy a few tickets, and flip them once the box office is out. On sites like StubHub, you’re not a scalper — you’re a reseller! StubHub guarantees ticket authenticity for the buyer, which weeds out a lot of the seedy guys selling fakes.
This is good advice. Especially about increasing your standard of living slowly. I am almost 30 now and I have spent the larger part of my 20’s increasing my standard of living. While it has been great it has also come with a cost. So I say to everyone, control your spending.
Sometimes, it takes a little elbow grease to get there. Or, if you are running a business, it might take some late nights. Millionaires are willing to work hard, and do things for themselves when they need to. Millionaires are also willing to do what it takes, even if it means taking on an unpleasant job. A millionaires also knows that this includes taking responsibility for his or her financial destiny, refusing to blame other for misfortunes and finding ways to make sure income streams are diverse.
If you’re in one of the 10 states with bottle bills, you can return empty cans and bottles to the store for the deposit refund. I once made $1,500 collecting soda cans at work, although it took months, and I lived in Michigan, where the deposit is 10 cents each (in other states it’s typically 5 cents).
There are entire books written on how to become a virtual assistant, so this job is definitely worthy of more research. My advice: Focus on one niche (I just hired Lisa Morosky of VA for Bloggers, for instance.) Also, reach out to potential customers directly and let them know what you can do for them instead of hitting up freelance web sites. Finally, you may want to consider resources such as AssistU, which provides training for up-and-coming virtual assistants.
People love to talk about themselves. No matter who you are when you put your interests in other people just for the pure intention of knowing more about them. Most people will be honored to share with you want they had gone through to get to where they are today. My intention is to interview more millionaires here on TheMillionairessinTraining.com I think it is very important to find the similarities in characteristics and learn from other people’s trials to get to where you want to go.
You don’t have to have a lot of money to make more money. Small sums can add up to big dividends if you properly use the money you do have. The poverty mentality thinks, “There’s such a tiny bit of cake; I may as well eat it.” The rich mentality thinks, “I’d rather have this tiny bit of cake than eat it and have none.”

Many national currencies have, or have had at various times, a low unit value, in many cases due to past inflation. It is obviously much easier and less significant to be a millionaire in those currencies, thus a millionaire (in the local currency) in Hong Kong or Taiwan, for example, may be merely averagely wealthy, or perhaps less wealthy than average. In 2007 a millionaire in Zimbabwe could have been extremely poor.
You’ll have made $400 million in a single year! So pay yourself a fat salary for all your hard work. And pay your “bankers” fat salaries for all their hard work (But don’t worry–your bankers won’t actually have to do anything. You’ll just need one of them to borrow the money from the Fed and buy the Treasuries, which he will be able to do part-time.) At the end of the year, celebrate. It’s bonus time!
Companies are sitting on trillions of dollars that they will spend if it creates value. People older than 50, maybe they’re retired or still working in the corporate world, have a lot of experience and expertise that they can sell to companies as a consultant. You can become a millionaire later in life even if you have little now, he says.
Only one in every 400 U.S. households makes more than $1 million a year. But one out of every 15 U.S. households has at least $1 million in assets. (This measure includes things like stocks, bonds and investment properties, but it doesn’t count equity in the home you live in.)

Investing in a well-chosen dividend shares in a diversiferad portpolio is enough and perhaps among the simplest and best way to become a millionaire. But one very important rule that one should re-invest the dividends. Otherwise it like investing in index fonds.
“But I became a trusted source about credit card processing. So before long all these online sites that had previously had a hard time navigating this industry would start contacting me to switch their payment services.”
Changing career takes a long time from the moment you make the decision – which is often delayed because of procrastination. If you know the ship is sinking – like I currently do – then get out of there faster than Jumping Jack Flash.
I launched my own online marketing agency in 2010, but I didn’t launch a real online product until a few months ago (Millennial Money Course). My co-creator Matt and I had a phenomenal 5 figure launch the first few days (and we launched on a holiday weekend because we wanted to control the sign ups). Putting together the course was an insane amount of work, but the best thing about creating a digital product is that you only have to create it once and then you can keep selling it. There are some people, like my fellow personal finance blogger Michelle, who absolutely kills it selling online courses – she makes over $100,000 a month on her course! Insane.
The reason most people aren’t successful is because they either fear or avoid marketing. For the same reason, most people are bad teachers. They’re more focused on content than the delivery and design of that content.
First, I would start by suggesting you open two checking accounts and two savings accounts. This didn’t use to be possible in the U.S. (with a single SSN) but now most banks allows it. I would have your paychecks deposited into your first savings account. Then, automatic transfers can put set amounts into your second savings account, which we will call your Opportunity Account (for your 20% savings), and your two checking accounts. One checking account is for periodic expenses such as your mortgage, debt payments, etc. (automatically paid). This is you Bill Account. The other checking account is for discretionary expenses (ones you can vary) such as gas, food, and entertainment. This is your Fun Account. Your goal each month is to spend every dollar from your Fun Account. You can freely do this knowing your bills and savings are taken care of. If an unexpected bill appears, take the money from your Opportunity Account. You’ll just unbalance your budget if you take it from anywhere else.
Contestants are given a series of lifelines to aid them with difficult questions. After using a lifeline, the contestant can either answer the question, use another lifeline, or walk away and keep the money (although using the “Double Dip” lifeline requires the contestant to immediately answer and using the “Jump the Question” lifeline naturally prevents them from continuing with that question). Except for the first three seasons of the “Jump the Question” lifeline’s use, each lifeline can only be used once. In the Hot Seat format, the concept of lifelines is discarded in favor of the option to pass.
Even with all of this traffic, I make between $5,000 – $8,000 each month directly on traffic driven ads meaning so people who come to the website clock on the banner ads, or click on the links on my recommends page https://youtu.be/prKVQ5T7mTs in my guides on best credit cards or student loan refinancing.
