I fell for the jay effect kaching scam. I am a stay at home mom. With my disabled son. I wanted the opportunity to to give my son a much better life. I was so naive. With having no internet experience. Can’t explain the feeling.
Start by purchasing a home that you can comfortably afford and drive vehicles that suit your lifestyle without straining your budget. You don’t have to be pulling down $75,000 a year and drive a 1992 Civic Hatchback or live in a dump, but throwing your money at a 4,000 square foot home in a gated community with luxury cars or SUVs that cost as much as one year of your salary won’t help you become a millionaire. Some may argue that an expensive home how to become a millionaire without winning the lottery real estate in general is a good way to become a millionaire, but I will touch on that later.
The UK Millionaire saw five video game adaptations for personal computers and Sony’s PlayStation consoles, produced by Hothouse Creations and Eidos Interactive. Between 1999 and 2001, Jellyvision produced five games based on the U.S. network version for PCs and the PlayStation, all of them featuring Philbin’s likeness and voice. The first of these adaptations was published by Disney Interactive, while the later four were published by Buena Vista Interactive which had just been spun off from DI when it reestablished itself in attempts to diversify its portfolio. Of the five games, three featured general trivia questions, one was sports-themed, and another was a “Kids Edition” featuring easier questions. Two additional U.S. Millionaire games were released by Ludia in conjunction with Ubisoft in 2010 and 2011; the first of these was a game for Nintendo’s Wii console and DS handheld system based on the 2008–10 clock format, with the Wii version offered on the show as a consolation prize to audience contestants during the 2010–11 season. The second, for Microsoft’s Xbox 360, was based on the shuffle format and was offered as a consolation prize during the next season (2011–12).
They make it easy for teens to raise money for any type of project. People have used it to raise the money for everything from mission trips to medical bills, weddings and honeymoons, business ventures, and even college tuition.
I have started reading and watching inspirational videos around 3 years ago, yet my problem was the surroundings. I started telling everyone I want to become a millionaire, still a little uncertain, but very positive about it. Eventually I got discouraged by everyone around me, especially my dad who is a very negative man. With time I managed to distance myself from him, felt a little better, yet inside it got worse, as a result of being constantly discouraged… right now I feel something between desperate and miserable, not because I don’t believe i can succeed – I do, but I am kind of out of moral juice, I really need someone to tell me that I can do it, and that all my problems are not really so bad… I would like to get some successful friends (or at least who are more successful than I am) But who would want to be friends with someone who is less successful than them? Won’t that be a burden?

Unfortunately, most people are looking for a way to get rich quick or to capitalize on the next big thing. It is true that some people have made their wealth through playing the real estate market, while others have done so by investing in a few stocks that exploded, but this is the exception and not the norm. If the above list seems overly simplistic, that’s good. There are no secrets to becoming a millionaire and almost anyone has the chance to make it happen. The process is simple:
What most of you have never known is that you can have your own network of these so called “niche” sites in hundreds so you can keep recommending yourself on each site by refering to another of yours. Google likes this too because you are ranked by how many backlinks you have on a site.
I’ll be more than a millionaire, I don’t doubt it at all. The hardest part is starting your way up the curve, since that’s when the snowball process of compounding takes the longest to kick off. Once you reach a critical mass, the last… say… third or fourth of the journey will be relatively easy. If you’re in the right investment allocation, the real question is how soon can you make it to $750,000 in net worth? Or how soon can you start bringing in income from a second investment property? No, friends, a million is not far off at all…
I keep telling everyone that I’m becoming an index fund convert. No, I’m not those that liked index funds from the get go or someone who lost a bunch of money in the stock market betting on individual securities. In fact, I made a small fortune in the stock market. But it was risky, tiring, frustrating and stressful. I wanted a life. If you really want to be a millionaire, stick with index funds. You don’t need the crap and you don’t want to buy tissues after you bought Bear Sterns based on rumors that it was good value.

These skills empower us to accurately assess our emotional triggers and abilities, control our emotional reactions, constructively resolve conflicts, set achievable goals and effectively manage relationships with other people. It’s not your IQ, but your EQ that will make your career skyrocket and your salary reach figures you only dreamt about. But how?
The trick is to find properties below market value (BMV) by avoiding estate agents and instead flyering your area with your contact details offering to buy houses. Then approach investors with a no-brainer offer to pass on the details of cut-price property in exchange for a % of the sale value.
Right on, sounds easy, but turns out to be harder than it looks. Discipline – for steps 2 and 3 – and knowledge combined with pure hard work – for step 5 – is where most people come short. A bit like playing golf – looks real easy and almost anyone has what it takes become a pro, and yet only few will be willing to do what it takes to be real good at it.
I love like hearing all of your podcast. Right now I am only learning about business and the basics. I’m only 18 so I have a little time to look for something I’m passionate about. I’m just learning as much as I can, and I’ve already learned a lot from you! Thank you!
For Andrew, I got a high level guest post and asked if I could include him in it (they had over 200,000 subscribers) We ended up chatting on the phone and I asked him to come on my show then. (instead of emailing him over and over, give first, then ask!)
Fill a sack with beans, give it furry ears, and name it something cute like Patti the Platypus or Splash the Whale. The result? A toy empire bigger than Hasbro and Mattel combined—Beanie Babies. While many initially scoffed at Ty’s under-stuffed animals and referred to them as ‘roadkill,’ the haters were quickly hushed when 30,000 were sold at the first toy show in Atlanta.
There is no end game. It’s not about the most money or being filthy stinking rich, or having the most “toys”. A Volkswagen will get you across the country just like the Ferrari will. It’s about enjoying the journey along the way. The enjoyment of the journey depends on who you are traveling with.
Hypothetically, anyone can become a billionaire through any job, but realistically, no. Most wealthy musicians have amassed their wealth in other ways. If your dream in life is to become a billionaire, there are only a select number of jobs which could even allow a person to become one and even these jobs have next to zero odds. Instead of focusing on money, find something you love to do because having passion is the most important thing.
Marry a rich person. You can marry someone rich and become a millionaire. Yea, most people marry for money these days so it’s no big deal anymore. But it takes a great deal of heartache to live with somebody you have no affection for.
Thank you, Gary, for discovering one more scam on the internet! Hope that there is not a lot of people that join that program. I am so sorry for people who trust anything that finds on internet and hope that will change their future.
In 2006, a screenshot from the UKGameshows.com site was digitally altered and used in a piece on the satire site BS News. The image was also widely circulated as an email in which it was purported to show contestant Fiona Wheeler from the UK version, failing to answer her £100 question correctly after using all three lifelines because she was too sceptical of the assistance that was given; the image was actually a digitally altered screenshot of Wheeler’s answering a different question from a higher tier; in the actual screenshot, Wheeler is shown about to win her eventual prize of £32,000. The hoax, an exaggeration of real-life incidents of contestants losing horribly, might have been inspired by an infamous moment from the French version of the show, in which a contestant requested help from the audience on a €3,000 question which asked which celestial body orbits the Earth: the Moon, the Sun, Mars, or Venus. The majority of the audience provided the answer of “the Sun”, although the correct answer is the Moon, and the contestant ended up leaving with only €1,500 as a result. The hoax also borrows elements from a number of infamous moments on the U.S. version, where numerous unlucky contestants won nothing after submitting a wrong answer to one of the first five questions.

You know, I am not 18 and I do photography too. My dad works at a local organic market and says he can put some of my photos up for sail there. You know, thats always an option. Going to a local store and asking if you can put your photos up for a limited amount of time and see if they sell. That can work 🙂 I hope this helped!
These are just a few of the benefits real estate has over many other wealth-building activities. That said, real estate investing is not for those just looking to make a quick buck. It takes time, persistence, knowledge, and sometimes a bit of luck.

This was a great read! As a Dave Ramsey reader, college graduate, and CPA, I always knew the right way to behave with money; but I rarely followed my own advice. The key for me to start to change my life was finding my partner/battle buddy. We identified goals for our future, created a roadmap to achieve them, and are on pace to pay off $50k in debt this year!
Ever since the idea of online auctions came into existence, the online selling market has been on the rise. Many are interested, but don’t know how to get started. There are still all kinds of ways to make money by selling online, whether you’re selling what you already have or buying and selling like a store. Before we get started, here are a few general tips when selling anything online:
There’s plenty of great salespeople out there but what separates the good from the incredible (the same goes for entrepreneurs) is execution. We can all get a client excited for a few brief minutes but translating that into revenue for the business and an ongoing relationship is much harder.

Apple is a great example. In all of their marketing, they don’t explain the technicalities of their products, they define and share their core values. They believe technology should be both easy to use and cool.

I am hoping my success story involves a combination of the blog and consulting. I’ve been really struggling with the consulting lately in an attempt at networking and obtaining more clients. Between the two blogs, keeping up with industry, and maintaining an amicable family relationship I find I am short on time. My wife has not worked for over 2 years so we are on a single income. We do have a child who takes a lot of time and money.
