Focus on the process. Wanting to become a millionaire is great — but it’s not going to get you there. You must focus on the process for doing so. What daily actions will you take? What path will you walk down? As the late, great motivational speaker Jim Rohn said, “Life doesn’t get better by chance, it gets better by change.”
Do only vital tasks. Focus on the few tasks that you do best, and either avoid the rest or leave it to other people. Bill Gates, Oprah Winfrey, and YOU have the same number of hours in a day, yet you make drastically different impacts and incomes; it’s how you use the hours given that make the difference.
Focus on the surveys and offers at the top of the list. Here’s a tip not many people know. CashCrate has a special algorithm that automatically selects the best surveys and offers and places them at the top of the list. There are several factors that go into determining which are the “best”, including payout, approval rate, and a variety of other factors. But all you need to know is that these surveys and offers are great, so you can do them in confidence!
I have always subscribed to paying yourself first, keeping debt under control and living within my means. Fortunately my wife and I have always made pretty good money so it was fairly pain free to be successful. We were so fortunate to not have any breaks in our work history which is a huge factor. For those who need to dip into savings to cover a long period of work outage, it can be devastating. I’m now at retirement age, house is paid for, no debt, million++ in investments…. You don’t know good it feels to be able to sleep good at night knowing that you can deal with anything that comes up.
Wanting money doesn’t make you selfish, materialistic, or evil. Money gives you the means to lead the kind of life you want: fulfilling, interesting, secure, and independent. Being financially rich gives you choices so you can live a more rewarding life.
Alternatively, you can also save more by reducing your current expenses. Do you still have your cable TV? You can try Netflix free with a one month free trial offer. At the very least, look for the AT&T U-Verse promotions and the Verizon FiOS promotions that seem to be all over the web if you already use their services.
(For the record, InboxDollars isn’t the only site that will pay you for playing games and surfing the web. Swagbucks is generally regarded as the best in the business when it comes to that kind of free money. Click here to read my honest review of Swagbucks)
Education truly is a “silver bullet” for all that ails you. A college degree is called the Million Dollar Gift as it typically provides one more than a million dollars ($1.2 million on average) in additional lifetime income (of course, it should be a degree in something that’s marketable). Did you know many top “for-profit” schools (Harvard, Yale, Stanford, MIT, etc.) provide free tuition for those from families making less than $60-$75,000? Did you know a minority of students are accepted into college just on grades (good thing for me)? And, did you know there’s about $16 billion in aid and that most of it is not merit based? Finally, it is said the “rich” usually plan for three generations while the “poor” only plan for the weekend. Good advice from Rich Dad Poor Dad is to build a financial plan (with a professional planner) and then do it again. A financial plan should not be about getting rich but to primarily just help identify what’s important to you. Plus, it’s difficult to improve what you don’t track.
Given the government’s desperate desire to get banks to start lending again, you might also want to try to hit up the government for some funds. The pitch will be simple: Old banks aren’t lending because they’re hiding embedded losses and need to protect their balance sheets. You don’t have that problem. You’ll use the equity to LEND. (And you will use it to lend! You don’t have to say that you’re going to lend it to the US government. None of the other banks are saying that.)
You will need financial education, help from mentors, strategic partners, access to cashflow (which you leverage by using other people’s money), and income- producing opportunities so you can make the most of the cashflow you do acquire. If you implement these strategies and many, many more, you will have a great opportunity to free yourself and your family from financial slavery and the month-to-month grind so many people are in for their entire lives, only to retire to a meager existence scraping pennies every day while depending on a few government scraps every month.
Having wealth doesn’t mean someone else has to be poor. Economics, whether personal or global, isn’t like a how to become a millionaire as a programmer problem where something added to one side has to be subtracted from the other. You don’t have to take anything away from anybody else to build your wealth. (Of course, this also means that rich people haven’t taken anything away from you to build their wealth, so you have no reason to resent people who have more money than you do.)
I used to have fun doing surveys while I watched TV. I was choosy about the companies I used and I never paid to sign up for any. I got about $25 in free BlockBuster movie coupons, cashed out about $25 from another site and did an in house project trial where a company sent me to full size body lotions to use and record information about. I had fun, felt like my input was improving the business world, but I wasn’t looking to get rich quick, just earn a little bit in time that typically wasted. Some survey companies pay very little, others pay better. Of course, it is not fair to the businesses conducting the research to lie in order to qualify for a survey and they certainly deserve honest and thoughtful answers to their questions. The companies I worked with told me how much the survey would pay and how long it would it would take. Research for the reputable companies.
Try to get in touch with current or previous employees, Stoddard recommends. And look for other red flags, including vague job descriptions or background requirements that don’t make sense in your field, such as asking for a certain number of years of experience that don’t match up with the skills required. If almost anyone could qualify for the job, or if the pay is ridiculously generous, the job may be too good to be true. Plus, if the employer is asking you for money, Stoddard says, that’s a red hot flag that something’s not right.
The key point to remember is that if Tepper had bet wrong and the Fed hadn’t ridden to the rescue, then his hedge fund—and most hedge funds—would have lost billions. In fact, the bailouts saved the entire hedge-fund industry from utter collapse.
Assuming the wealthy teach these three important lessons to their children, who are only financially successful in about one in five (like all Scots, Russians, and Hungarians in America), then perhaps becoming a millionaire but comes from these lessons and is not dependent on special privileges or advantages. Did you know immigrants are 3-4 times more likely to become millionaires than native-born Americans? How about that immigrants comprise 41% of the student population of Ivy League schools, yet only comprise 11% of the population in the U.S? Moreover, 55% of PhDs awarded in American colleges go to foreign born (Dr. Wulf, President, National Academy of Engineering, 2005) and 60% of the top science students and 65% of the top math students in the U.S. are children of immigrants (Wikipedia). If the average immigrant has fewer connections, less education, less understanding of our culture, and may not even speak the language, but can take the opportunities provided in this country and go from nothing to millions at four times the rate of a native citizen, what is their advantage? Might this be due to the fact that immigrants are twice as likely to be Catholic? The simple lesson to learn from this is likely that finding or working to build a supportive community can’t hurt. Moreover, success starts with a firm ethical foundation. Marva Collins always had her 2nd Grade class (who were often working at a 6th – 7th Grade level by the end of the year regardless of IQ) start the first day by reading Emerson, Shakespeare, and Plato. Accelerated living comes more easily after finding our moral principles.
Do not fall into this category of lies and deceit. Major search engine sites like Google and Bing will not allow your website to rank, this means you will eventually lose your good standing and therefore not able to make any money.
Introducing yourself on social media first is a great way to get people to recognize your name and face. Once I became known for interviewing millionaires, it became a lot easier to make new connections with the people on my list.
But when you find a way to serve a million people, many other benefits follow. The effect of word of mouth is greatly magnified. The feedback you receive is exponentially greater–and so are your opportunities to improve your products and services. You get to hire more employees and benefit from their experience, their skills, and their overall awesomeness.
Thanks for this warning !! It is like herbalife.. earn money no working and bla bla.. I have lost about 100 dollars on it. And i do not want anyone swallows this crap. I ve receveid many emails from myMillionaire i dont know what.. and i decided to investigate this so easily make money site.
Both should have a vast range of knowledge in the business you are in. Plus the position they are in, is the one you dream to be in on a daily basis. Most highly successful people value their time the most, so what they do is they have filters that filter out the people who aren’t really serious about doing what is necessary to achieve the success they desire. You have to show them that you really want it and you are willing to hustle for it.
I also almost got sucked into subscribing to the MOBE scam. MOBE operates out of Maolaysia. I called them to refund my $49, and she gave me a lame excuse. She said that only her manager can authorize a refund. I called back to speak to the manager, and all of a sudden the phone keeps ringing. No one was there to receive my call, smh.
