If people could only understand that the least productive ” money manipulators” literally control the western world they would be concerned. This book is must reading with the idea of exposing their activities. Once up on a time great wealth meant that the person holding it had produced something.. Now the wealthiest among us produce nothing but flickering computer clicks. Even a person as rich, productive, and powerful as Warren Buffett is jeered and mocked by ignorant workers whose 401Ks are raided by the Hedge Fund Manipulators. They even ran one of their own (Mitt Romney) for President, and perhaps next time around they will succeed. The standard of living is declining for the average person. The one percent continues to gain more and more till finally they may have all of nothing. I have absolutely no problem with wealth through speculation. My entire objection to the current hedge fund world is the government support that makes it possible. This book sheds some light on the subject in an objective way. So don’t yell that I’m a socialist pinko. Read the book. Yes I love Bill Gates , Mark Zuckerberg, et al. Read the book and don’t yell.

The part in the post about interviews resonated with me because I’ve also been really shocked at how willing and happy most people are to be interviewed. I literally started my blog only a few weeks ago and, when I first started requesting interviews, I only had a crappy landing page up. I was shaking in my boots, utterly convinced that everyone would either ignore me or tell me to go jump. So, it was amazing to get really great feedback and almost everyone I’ve asked has agreed to be interviewed. Now, I’m not targeting millionaires like you because my blog is a food blog but rather prominent chefs, who are still crazily busy and often travel a lot, meaning juggling is needed and they can be a challenge to get a hold of.

Well getting rich shouldn’t be taboo, it is definitely not impossible, ten years is plenty of time and I assure you from personal experience the negative labels of being rich are better than the alternative. At the age of 21 I was graduating from college with an accounting degree, broke and in debt and I didn’t even know how to get a job. By the age of 30, I had put away my first million.

Well, if you know everything already, why aren’t you a millionaire? Don’t be a smart bum that knows everything. Be a millionaire that got started reading and applying every common sense advice ever written.

Great article Megan! Anyone serious about making money should definitely check out Affilorama. It teaches you how to make serious money online w/ affiliate marketing. I quit my job and now I make ALOT more money all online 🙂

As the market’s performance https://youtu.be/uuwWWjFUXsQ the financial crisis underscores, taking advantage of big declines to buy stocks can pay off handsomely. Few of us will be lucky enough to time the next big upward move perfectly. What’s key is that the more share prices drop, the greater the future opportunity. So one way to boost your gains is to set thresholds for buying on the dips. You could do so after a decline of 10%, for example. And if stock prices fall another 10%, buy more.

$1000-$10,000 guaranteed per day? I guess this would be a good situation to bring up the good ole saying. “If it seems too good to be true, then it most likely is”. This is really so fake and it really should be obvious it is.

I’m a 43 yr old Mother of 3 boys, married and living pay check to pay check. I want to learn how to invest smart. I’ve been working since I was 16, I wish I was taught this in my 20s. I want to become a millionaire before I’m 60.

While it’s definitely possible to make selling your own products, it’s not as easy as many Facebook ads say it is. Sure, you can get lucky and launch an Etsy product that blows up, but in most cases, like building a blog, to make money on a product you need to spend a ton of time building an audience and organically expanding your online visibility. There are very few overnight successes.

To truly tap the power of an HSA, use money outside of the account to pay medical bills and let the money in the account grow. After you sign up for Medicare (when contributions to an HSA are no longer allowed), you can reimburse yourself for any eligible expenses you incurred after you first opened the HSA, plus pay for retirement health expenses—including long-term care.

• It´s actually quite enjoyable. I´ve had a lot of random jobs in my short life and giving advice about my beloved hometown is certainly the most pleasant. I also enjoy asking friends about exciting new places to explore in Sydney. For sure when I return home I´m never going to be out of ideas for things to do!

Rich people choose to commit to attaining wealth. It takes focus, courage, knowledge, and a lot of effort, self-made millionaire T. Harv Eker emphasizes, and it’s possible if you have precise goals and a clear vision: “The number one reason most people don’t get what they want is that they don’t know what they want. Rich people are totally clear that they want wealth.”

Want to become a millionaire? Making it happen in the next five years doesn’t have to be a fantasy. That’s the view of Steve Siebold, 50, author of How Rich People Think. Siebold, a self-made millionaire who consults for corporate sales teams and gives speeches across the country, says that in fact, people over 50 have the advantage when it comes to getting rich. That’s right: 50 is the new 40.

We have always believed that we need to be smart, well-organized, hard-working and tough negotiators to be successful at work. However, has anyone told you to rely on your emotions for success? The answer is probably not since most people tend to believe emotions only get in the way.

There isn’t a lot else to say. This book was alright. It has a lot of interesting stories- lots and lots. If you have any questions on the book don’t hesitate to ask. I would be more than happy to help anyone that wants it.

My point is, with a million dollars in startup capital, there’s a huge and irresistible temptation to start up with a big bang. As long as there is something out there that’s necessary for your business, even if it’s not very important, you’re very likely to spend because you have a million bucks in your pocket!

After you’ve skimmed down the budget, there are three keys to making your million dollars. First, as we already mentioned, you must take advantage of any type of employer match program. If you have a 401(k) plan at work and the employer matches up to 6% of your pay, you should contribute at least 6% of your pretax income to the plan. Second, set your accounts up on automatic investment plan, so each monthly income goes to forced savings. And lastly, invest in the best savings plans first and weed out the bad.

I invested $3,000 to get help writing my first book proposal from a highly successful writer. That $3,000 got me maybe four or five hours of his time. But in those four or five hours, he taught me what I needed to know to create an amazing book proposal. He provided me resources that dramatically enhanced and sped up my process. With his help, I was able to get a literary agent and eventually a multi-six-figure book contract.

The contestants must first play a preliminary round, called “Fastest Finger First” (or, in the U.S. version, simply “Fastest Finger”), where they are all given a question and four answers from the host and are asked to put those four answers into a particular order; in the first series of the British version and in pre-2003 episodes of the Australian version, the round instead required the contestants to answer one multiple-choice question correctly as quickly as possible. The contestant who does so correctly and in the fastest time goes on to play the main game for the maximum possible prize (often a million units of the local currency). In the event that two or more contestants are tied for the fastest time, those contestants play another question to break the tie. If no one gets the question right, that question is discarded and another question is played in the same manner. If any contestants are visually impaired, the host reads the question and four choices all at once, then repeats the choices after the music begins.

LOVE Scott’s energy! Business/money can be a pretty dry and boring topic depending on who’s doing the talking and that is definitely not the case with Scott. Keeps me engaged and motivated. Also, what an awesome ‘radio’ voice. Highly recommend!”– Britany Felix
