Clearly, making money online is no simple feat. If it were, the world would be filled with far more so-called dot-com millionaires. If it were really that easy to get rich in life by clicking a few buttons, typing some lines of code and shooting off several dozen emails, don’t you think that more people would do it?
Since the original version launched, several individuals have claimed that they originated the format and that Celador had breached their copyright. Sponsored by the Daily Mail, Mike Bull, a Southampton-based journalist, took Celador to the High Court in March 2002, claiming authorship of the lifelines, but Celador settled out of court with a confidentiality clause. In 2003, Sydney resident John J. Leonard claimed to have originated a format substantially similar to that of Millionaire, but without the concept of lifelines. In 2004, Alan Melville sued ITV for using the opening phrase “Who wants to be a millionaire?” from his ideas for a game show based on the lottery, called Millionaires’ Row, for which he had sent his documents to Granada Television; ITV counter-claimed, and the parties reached an out-of-court agreement/settlement.
There are other things you can do to make the process easier. You can, for example, set up an automatic savings or investment program so you don’t have to think about it. Out of sight, out of mind is a great motto when it comes to saving.

I’m not putting up with any excess negativity. The burden of a career crisis is enough to deal with and stacking more negativity will weigh you down. The default human response is negativity so when a career crisis happens (especially one that affects your colleagues), you have to get disciplined.

No one is saving your ass. That career you’ve worked hard for may be in ruins and only you can fix it. In my situation, I found 90% of those around me only wanted to save themselves. No point dwelling on this fact it’s just the reality of these career situations.
Great post! You touched upon many key points to ensure wealth building. Personally, I follow several of these steps and I believe I share several of the mentioned mindset traits. I was fortunate enough to learn about finance at a young age, so I was able to jump on retirement savings early.
I also almost got sucked into subscribing to the MOBE scam. MOBE operates out of Maolaysia. I called them to refund my $49, and she gave me a lame excuse. She said that only her manager can authorize a refund. I called back to speak to the manager, and all of a sudden the phone keeps ringing. No one was there to receive my call, smh.

I recently gave some marketing tips to a bunch of local professional photographers who formed a company about 3 years ago. There are 7 of them and they were making around £400 a month (collectively). So I advised them to create a website, show their individual skills on the site, and start promoting themselves. (No no no, not the way you are already thinking!) The skills about their technical know-how, courses they can offer, and (very importantly) reviews of the latest equipment on the market.
