This was the type of financial advice that was passed down to me, so I thought that was just the way things were. Unfortunately, this advice led me to rack up $20,000 worth of credit card debt in my early 20’s.
What an inspirational podcast Lewis! This is my first time on your site and first podcast and the amount of knowledge that I have taken in is unbelievable. It’s funny, as I listened to the podcast, I kept saying your so right Lewis, yup your right about that too… The perfectionist in me is what is holding me back, and after your podcast, no more. Going to set a deadline date this year to roll out my product, will learn as much as I can from others and invest in myself. You have gained a lifetime follower of your work. Thank you for being awesome and talented. Enjoy Spain!
Out of all contestants that have played the game, few have been able to win the top prize on any international version of the show. The first was John Carpenter, who won the top prize on the U.S. version on 19 November 1999. Carpenter did not use a lifeline until the final question, using his Phone-a-Friend not for help but to call his father to tell him he had won the million.
Correct, it’s not… yet. Remember, the learning never ends. So what if you could get your name in front of not 9% but 20% of dog owners? What if 6% of all of those hire you? And if you begin making $150 per month, on average, from those customers?
Mentors are a vital business resource I recommend to everyone. A mentor is a person who guides and advises you. This person will also push you forward in your business. Many times, a mentorship emerges out of a business relationship.
Always use multiple touches – don’t just contact these millionaires through emails. They get bombarded with so many requests each day that they forget to respond to all of their emails. Make sure you also contact them through the social profiles… such as Twitter or LinkedIn.
While I’m not a millionaire yet, I will be someday and I know a lot of it will be thanks to the multiple streams of income I’ve created over time. What initially started as a survival technique has turned into a wealth creation strategy for decades to come.
These actors/actresses will do this for a low fee of $5 bucks in most cases. Where are the dignity and good morals of these people? It would seem as if some people will do almost anything to gain a few bucks.
Many users have mentioned how after partaking in a survey for some time, only after a while (around 5-10 minutes) were they notified that they “did not qualify” for the survey and therefore their accounts could not be credited for taking up the survey.
“The only reason to save money is to invest it. Put your saved money into secured, sacred (untouchable) accounts. Never use these accounts for anything, not even an emergency. This will force you to continue to follow step one (increase income). To this day, at least twice a year, I am broke because I always invest my surpluses into ventures I cannot access.”
Analyze your top five competitors; everything from their websites, customer service, to product lines and prices. Take notes and write down 10 new ideas you could use from each of these competitors. If you do this once a year, not only will you keep up with your competitors as they innovate and evolve, but you will leapfrog over them as many others will not do this hard work, and the combination of new ideas will lead to new creative solutions for your customers. Consider the 30 best-performing stocks over the past 15 years. Not surprisingly, the roster includes such familiar tech firms as Apple (symbol AAPL) and Amazon.com (AMZN). But their returns pale beside that of retailer Tractor Supply (TSCO), which we recommended in our October 2001 issue. If you had invested in Tractor back then, you’d have earned 9,222%, an average of 36% per year. And if you hit the jackpot with the top 15-year stock, Monster Beverage (MNST), you’d be up by more than 48,000%, turning a $10,000 investment into $4.9 million today.
Entertainment is all well and good. But only when that entertainment is an investment in your relationships or yourself. You’ll know if it was an investment if that entertainment continues to yield returns over and over in your future. That may include positive memories, transformational learning, or deepened relationships.
This is how TRANSFORMATION occurs. Only those who engage in collaboration actually experience true transformation. People who only work well by themselves are stuck in their own narrow worldview and agendas.
When it comes to self-improvement, investing 10 percent of your income in yourself will yield a 100X or more return on that investment. For every dollar you spend on your education, skills, and relationships, you’ll get at least 100 dollars back in returns.
Say you want to promote the 21-step MTTB program and earn commissions on it. Then, did you know that its affiliate links will be given to you only after the step 7 (while there is a $2,497 paywall after step 5)?
I am a member of Wealthy Affiliate and what drew me in was how up front people were about the need to put in the work. I read that you won’t make money right away, but work hard and put in the time, and eventually their will be vast potential to earn income. I like how it was free to start and their was no pushy sales person forcing you to hand over big bucks.
Main game contestants are asked increasingly difficult general knowledge questions by the host. Questions are multiple choice: four possible answers are given (labelled A, B, C and D), and the contestant must choose the correct one. The ‘D’ answer on the first question (except in the Shuffle format like in the US version) is always incorrect and humorous. Upon answering a question correctly, the contestant wins a certain amount of money. In most versions, there is no time limit to answer a question; a contestant may (and often does) take as long as they need to ponder an answer. After the first few questions, the host will ask the contestant if that is their “final answer”. When a contestant says “final” in conjunction with one of the answers, it is official, and cannot be changed. The first five questions usually omit this rule, because the questions are generally so easy that requiring a final answer would significantly slow the game down; thus, there are five chances for the contestant how to become a youtube millionaire leave with no money if they were to provide a wrong answer before obtaining the first guaranteed amount; going for 1,000 units of currency after winning 500 units is the last point in the game at which a contestant can still leave empty-handed.
Subscription – If you think of something valuable (newsletter, online magazine, etc.) that you can consistently offer on a certain basis (weekly, monthly, etc.), you may want to offer a subscription service. This could be a fee charged each time your product is sent out or on a monthly basis. Either way, this has to be something that your customers can only get by subscribing to your website.
The truth is, it could take 30 months or 30 years. The main point is that all you need to do to grow one penny into five million bucks is to double it 30 TIMES! Depending on your situation and the opportunities you exploit, doubling a penny thirty times can take a short or long time.
If you want to get your feet wet in the renting business, Airbnb is a great website to get started. If you own your home or your landlord permits it, you can make money online by renting your space to others on the site.
My 10-year-old son brought home a book from our park’s free library box. It was a biology textbook – teachers edition. He said it looked interesting and hey, it was free (having no idea you could sell it). I scanned it in my Amazon seller app and realized it was worth around $150. He was so excited. We listed it for sale for $130 and it sold! Going to tell him, he just made $130!
