From there, I continued that hustle into the launch of my blog. I also launched a YouTube channel and a podcast shortly after. From there, I kept on hustling and eventually wrote my first book, Soldier of Finance.

Have you watched the promo video for this program? Oh my God! I have to say that I have seen much worse acting from make money online programs, but this one is on top 5 of the nominees. If you want to see this Hollywood film click here.

The big thing to remember when starting your own business is to make sure that you’re providing value and solving a problem.  There’s a lot of money to be made if you can solve a problem for people.  You can also do it on nights and weekends, when you’re not in school.

You can’t 10X your results by engaging in the same thinking and behaviors you’re currently performing. Consequently, while thinking about your goal, you’ll also get ideas about what you need to do, realistically, to achieve that goal.

The chart above shows what it takes assuming starting at 22 (around college graduation), with a $50k salary, either 10% or 20% gross savings invested and earning 10% annual yields, no inflation, and no changes in salary ever (which should approximately balance out no inflation).  With 20% investment, it takes around 25 years to hit $1M.  With 10% investment, it takes another 6 years to hit the $1M mark.

As with any business, your results may vary, and will be based upon your individual effort and your level of commitment. There are no guarantees concerning the level of success you may experience. For those of you who chose the one million dollar option, the story pretty much ends there. Maybe you’ll go on to start a business, maybe you’ll go on to invest it, or you could spend it on a lavish vacation in the Caribbean, or gamble it away at a casino in Las Vegas.

Now that you are saving money, you need to invest it wisely. Sticking it under the mattress or slowly building up in a savings account isn’t going to help you reach your goals any faster. You don’t have to read the Wall Street Journal or watch CNBC everyday while actively managing your portfolio in order to be a good investor. Some of the best investment advice is to simply invest regularly and in a diversified portfolio. If you do this you’ll already be doing more than most people and on your way to building wealth.

Sell baked goods. Working parents might not have the time to whip up a birthday cake or cupcakes for school parties. That’s where you come in if you can create tasty baked goods. A friend of mine who is a single mom started making cupcakes as a way to keep herself occupied while staying with her dad when he was undergoing chemotherapy. She posted a picture of her cupcakes on Facebook and instantly received several orders from friends. Now she makes about $200 a month making cupcakes for others who hear about her through word of mouth or see pictures of her cupcakes on her Facebook page.

There are prejudices to be shed, before you can believe it’s even possible to amass a million dollars in your life — despite all the disadvantages you currently believe about yourself. You must unapologetically overcome ALL of them, every single one. “I can’t …” won’t get your there.

When many of us think of millionaires, we picture high-powered executives cruising around town in chauffeured limousines. But you don’t need to earn an extraordinarily high salary to join the ranks of the wealthy. In fact, if you play your cards right, you can become a millionaire on a fairly ordinary salary — just $56,000 a year, in fact.

Since taxes are undoubtedly on your mind, why not help your future tax bill as well as your future self? If you don’t have an individual retirement account, now is a good time to open one, particularly a Roth IRA. You’ll pay income tax upfront when you funnel money into a Roth, but the funds you withdraw in retirement will be tax-free.

Dr. Demartini first advises “When you think about what you want, visualize yourself embracing pleasure and pain in pursuing it. There will be highs and lows, but if its something of high value to you, if it inspires you and motivates you, those reactions will have very little effect on the overall fulfillment.” One key word here is YOU — when you thinking about what you want. Many people are afraid to do so, because it may seem selfish to think only about yourself. But if you don’t value yourself and realize you are worthy of success, then you’ll oversee opportunities for growth and are bound to be stuck in the same spot.

Yes, I have. My 7 year old son started his first business today creating flyers, pricing, even a website all in less than two hours and it didn’t cost him anything. As I was helping him get started I was thinking of these 6 steps. We even “hustled” door to door and he made his first $5. It’s not online this time nor is it a million (yet) but Thanks Lewis!

See! The 21-step mentoring product that you are going to buy is, in fact, called MTTB (My Top Tier Business). What Ryan Mathew does is he points you to MOBE. When you buy from MOBE, he will earn a fat commission.

However, I’m not going to make my own soap to save $1. I’m not going to ride my bicycle everywhere I go so I don’t have to pay for car insurance. I’m not going to sew my own clothes, eat ramen noodles, or sacrifice my love of travel.
