Both should have a vast range of knowledge in the business you are in. Plus the position they are in, is the one you dream to be in on a daily basis. Most highly successful people value their time the most, so what they do is they have filters that filter out the people who aren’t really serious about doing what is necessary to achieve the success they desire. You have to show them that you really want it and you are willing to hustle for it.
Street performing, also called “busking,” can quickly produce a nice pile of currency if you’re in the right location. What if you have no performance skills? Put on that outfit you wore for Halloween, and see my post on how to make money dressing up in a funny costume.

It’s not an annoyance factor, it’s people being deceived by well thought-out scam artist who put PLENTY of time and energy into setting up false opportunities such as the My Millionaire Mentor program.
Take it seriously. Yes, you’re applying for an online job. Yes, you can do the work in your underwear, but that doesn’t mean it’s not a “real job”. You must treat it as such or they aren’t going to treat you as a serious candidate. You aren’t the only one who wants to work in their underwear. In fact, the competition online is likely higher than it is in your local area.
The jobs https://youtu.be/oqILt-n4Qns for people looking to make money online run the gamut. On the internet, you can seek everything from full-time employment as a remote staff member to a work-whenever-you-want side hustle as a mystery shopper, blogger or jewelry-maker.
It is possible to make good money with the internet and some people do make millions, but they work for it and they learn to leverage the power of the internet to their advantage. It takes skill, commitment and patience, but it can be done honestly.
It’s as simple as putting on a bathrobe backwards and an idea so ridiculous it isn’t patentable. But the Snuggie, which sold 20 million items in its first year, is no laughing matter. How did the silly two for $19.95 blanket with sleeves shove aside its Slanket and Freedom Blanket predecessors? Some think the “cult of Snuggie” came to be through an abundance of advertising. $10 million worth of infomercials in a down economy will do the trick.
Danielle says business is so good that they’ve had to turn away some customers. She and her husband don’t mind receiving late-night texts from worried dog owners because they love caring for their pets. “I’ve gotten thank-you cards and presents because dog parents feel so much better leaving their dogs with us rather than a kennel,” she says.
While there is not much we can do about the first two steps of the funnel (besides encouraging town growth and dog ownership), we CAN make some changes to the third, fourth, and fifth steps in the funnel.
When it comes to self-improvement, investing 10 percent of your income in yourself will yield a 100X or more return on that investment. For every dollar you spend on your education, skills, and relationships, you’ll get at least 100 dollars back in returns.
Jenny wants to build wealth through rental properties. So Jenny finds a duplex for $250,000 in her neighborhood. After running a careful analysis, she determines that it is a good deal. Jenny uses a $50,000 down payment and obtains a 30-year loan for $200,000. Combined, both units bring in $3,000 per month, but Jenny’s expenses average just $2,500 per month, leaving her with $500 per month in cash flow, which increases each year as rents climb with inflation. Although that income is taxed, she doesn’t have to pay any because of the depreciation deduction she gets on the property, thus part of the tax benefits of owning it. Over the next 30 years, the value of the home increases to $600,000 (a 3% per year increase due to appreciation). Finally, each year during those 30 years the loan has been paid down, and Jenny owns the duplex free-and-clear. She now has an asset worth $600,000, plus she’s making thousands per month in cash flow.
Because for those who get it right, it’s life changing. Business truly can make you a millionaire and help you work less and have more time to spend with your family. More time to enjoy your hobbies. More money to travel and more money to give to others.
Of course, just buying some real estate will not give you all of the above benefits. Different strategies in real estate will give you different benefits. For example, when you “fix and flip houses,” you are most likely not paying off a loan, thus you will not get the benefit of the “loan paydown” nor are you getting cash flow or many tax benefits. Instead, flipping relies mostly on the “forced appreciation” you get by fixing it up.
What do you suggest I do in terms of saving and investing, i.e., how much should I put up in liquid cash for emergency money and how much in investment money to go towards retirement? I welcome any sage advice on this as I want to do it right while I am young and able to do so.
I recently started a new blog called Project DB9 and am literally trying every online way to make money I can get my hands on. I found this blog while doing research for some new ideas and signed up for Mechanical Turk. It’s tedious but I will give it a shot for a week or so and post the results here for everyone to see.
If you have a brilliant business idea and have always wanted to start a business, you have an amazing opportunity to start small with whatever little you have. This is exactly how successful African entrepreneurs like Lorna Rutto, Eric Muthomi, Patrick Ngowi, and the Jobberman trio started. They all started small!
Of all the international versions, the Japanese version has produced the most number (38) of top prize winners, including juniors. The most recent Millionaire winner is Marianne Hiller from the Swedish version, winning 1,000,000 krona in the episode broadcast on 2 March 2018.
Hey, Maurice, and thank you for sharing your experience with MOBE. Sad to hear you lost your money to MOBE. Even worse, these MOBE guys have exactly zero respect toward their customers, right? Clearly not my cup of tea.
@BrandonTurner This is just absolutely mind-blowing! My favourite saying is “millions have read Rich Dad Poor Dad, but only a few have taken action and only a handful have become millionaires. Thanks for the post sir!
Have a frugal start up. There is much talk about “looking the part”. There isn’t much point looking the part if it cost an arm and a leg to get it and you lack clients to pay for it. Get yourself a fabulous suit that is worn every day and makes you feel confident and ready to meet people but be very careful with your office fit-out and other business elements. Here are some ideas to help you initially:
Pay off your credit card debt. It’s hard to get ahead with debts hanging over head. Student loans and credit card debt should be paid off as soon as possible. Average annual percentage rates vary between 20% and 30%, so the balance will continue growing.
Stop watching TV. But everyone watches TV. Yes, couch potato the third, that’s why so few ever become millionaires. While you are watching TV, your competition, the more successful and the people you envy are all making money. Stop watching TV. In fact, cancel it if you always give in.
It has been said before, I don’t think most people are capable of being their own boss or inventing something. Invest regularly and spend less. On a note, I did marry well. My wife is a Partner at a Big Four accounting firm so we are able to save 40% of our income and still spend $85K a year doing almost whatever we want.
Specifically, if you can find a group of people who is starving for something and is willing to spend money to get what they want, it is easy to make money. Go to a college/professional football game and watch what what happens at halftime.
There are literally tons of affiliate marketing programs online. Some are legitimate while others are scams, the legitimate ones that you may be familiar with are Amazon, Ebay, Google, ClickBank, Nike, Coca-Cola, Walmart, BestBuy and many others.

This article originally began as ‘ways for teens to make money’, but as I have updated and added to it over the years, I have found that many of the items listed actually work for many adults looking to make some extra income as well.
